Behavior-First Talent Discovery · DEMA Health Ltd Co
DEMA Health Ltd Co uses a de-identified Talent discovery model designed to allow participating Employers to learn about relevant professional and behavioral information without displaying your personal identity during initial Talent discovery. This notice explains how information is handled, what Employers may access, and the choices you retain while using the service.
1. How Your Information Is Separated
Identifying information collected during the private participant intake process is maintained separately through BetterLife Foundation Co. DEMA Health uses a unique Talent ID as the primary identifier displayed within your de-identified Talent profile.
Private Identifying Information
Information such as your legal name, contact information, date of birth, address, and other identifying intake information is maintained separately through BetterLife Foundation Co and is not displayed to Employers through your searchable DEMA Health Talent profile.
De-Identified Talent Information
Your DEMA Health Talent profile is designed around your Talent ID and professional, workforce, preference, and applicable behavioral information used for Talent discovery.
2. Information Used in Your Talent Experience
Depending on the information you provide, your selected Profile Package, and the features available to you, information associated with your Talent experience may include:
- Talent ID
- Behavioral Style and applicable behavioral insights
- Resume Summary and professional background
- Current and desired role or industry categories
- Skills, certifications, education level, and languages
- Eligible work location and employment preferences
- Workplace and scheduling preferences
- Behavioral reports or resources included with your selected services
- Platform activity related to account use, Talent discovery, communication, and service delivery
3. What Participating Employers May See
Participating Employers may review de-identified professional and behavioral information available through their permitted level of platform access. The purpose is to help Employers determine whether a Talent profile may be relevant to a legitimate employment opportunity.
Information displayed may include your Talent ID, Behavioral Style, professional summary, role interests, industry background, skills, education or certification information, work location, employment preferences, and other applicable de-identified profile information.
Your searchable Talent profile is not intended to display your legal name, personal email address, personal phone number, home address, date of birth, actual prior Employer names, actual school names, or private Reference contact information.
4. References and Verification
If the platform provides designated private Reference fields, you may provide identifying Reference information within those fields for verification purposes.
DEMA Health may use this information to conduct or document Reference verification. Participating Employers may be shown that a Reference has been checked or verified, but the Reference person's private name, email address, telephone number, or other contact information is not intended to be displayed through the Talent discovery profile.
5. Behavioral Intelligence Information
Behavioral information is generated from the Behavioral Intelligence Assessment and processed using DEMA Health's licensed behavioral technology.
Depending on your Profile Package and available platform features, your Behavioral Style and other applicable behavioral information may be included in your Talent experience or made available to participating Employers.
Behavioral information provides additional context. It does not establish that you are qualified for a particular position and is not intended to replace consideration of experience, skills, education, certifications, interviews, job requirements, or other appropriate hiring information.
6. Employer Contact and Your Identity
If an Employer is interested in your de-identified profile, the Employer may contact you through communication features permitted by the platform and the Employer's access level.
You decide whether to respond, whether to pursue the opportunity, and whether to provide identifying or contact information directly to the Employer if you choose to move forward.
Your participation in Talent discovery does not require you to accept an opportunity, participate in an interview, or disclose your identity to an Employer simply because the Employer expresses interest.
7. Sensitive and Unnecessary Personal Information
Do not place unnecessary personal or sensitive information into searchable profile fields, Resume summaries, work-history descriptions, or other areas intended for Employer discovery.
Examples include personal medical or health information, disability information, religious or political information, family information, Social Security numbers, financial account information, or other information that is not necessary for Talent discovery.
If information is required for a separate authorized purpose, it should be provided only through the designated process or private field intended for that information.
8. How Information May Be Used
Information may be used as reasonably necessary to operate and improve the Talent discovery service, including to:
- Create, review, and maintain Talent profiles
- Provide behavioral assessments, reports, resources, and related services
- Support de-identified Talent discovery by participating Employers
- Support permitted platform communication
- Verify or review information where applicable
- Administer Profile Packages and platform features
- Provide user support and respond to account or privacy requests
- Maintain platform integrity, security, and appropriate use
- Evaluate and improve the Talent discovery process and related workforce services
9. De-Identified Data, Evaluation, and Service Improvement
DEMA Health may evaluate de-identified or aggregated information related to platform activity, Talent discovery, Employer engagement, hiring or placement activity where known, retention or workforce outcomes where available, and other service-use information.
This information may be used to evaluate how behavior-first Talent discovery performs, improve services and platform features, conduct workforce research or analysis, and develop future behavioral workforce solutions.
Public reporting or presentations based on this information are intended to use de-identified or aggregated information rather than identify an individual Talent participant, unless separate authorization is obtained where appropriate.
10. Service Providers and Technology
DEMA Health may use third-party technology, software, hosting, payment, communication, behavioral assessment, administrative, or other service providers to support operation of the service.
Information may be processed by these providers to the extent reasonably necessary for them to perform services on behalf of DEMA Health, subject to applicable agreements, permissions, and legal requirements.
11. Information Security
DEMA Health and its service providers use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
No electronic system, internet transmission, database, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Talent participants are also responsible for protecting their account credentials and notifying DEMA Health if they believe their account has been accessed without authorization.
12. Data Retention
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and transaction records, support research or evaluation where appropriate, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal or regulatory obligations, and maintain legitimate operational records.
De-identified or aggregated information that no longer reasonably identifies an individual may be retained for research, analytical, historical, or service-improvement purposes where permitted.
13. Access, Corrections, and Privacy Requests
You may contact DEMA Health regarding questions about your Talent profile, eligible corrections, account issues, or privacy-related requests.
Where applicable, you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or other action concerning information associated with your account. Requests may be subject to identity verification, applicable law, contractual obligations, legitimate record-retention requirements, and information that must be maintained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, research-integrity, or operational purposes.
Privacy requests may be sent to privacy@demahealth.com.
14. Participation and Employment Decisions
Creating a Talent account or becoming discoverable does not guarantee that an Employer will view your profile, contact you, request an interview, make an offer, or hire you.
Participating Employers remain responsible for their own recruiting, interviewing, employment, background-screening, accommodation, and hiring decisions and for complying with applicable employment laws.
Your Consent and Acknowledgment
By registering for and participating in the DEMA Health Talent discovery service, and by providing consent where requested during registration, assessment, package selection, or use of specific services, you acknowledge that your information may be collected, maintained, processed, used, and disclosed as described in this notice and the applicable Platform Terms.
You also acknowledge that the searchable Talent experience is designed to use a de-identified profile during Employer discovery and that you are responsible for following the de-identification instructions provided through START HERE.
