Beta Platform Terms- Talent

Behavior-First Talent Discovery Beta · DEMA Health Ltd Co

About These Terms

These Talent Beta Platform Terms govern Talent participation in the Behavior-First Talent Discovery Beta and related Talent-side platform services operated by DEMA Health Ltd Co. Because the service is actively being evaluated and improved, available features, eligibility requirements, processes, packages, access, and services may change during the beta period.

1. About the Beta

The Behavior-First Talent Discovery Beta is an active beta service designed to explore a different way for individuals to be discovered for employment opportunities by allowing participating Employers and approved recruiting professionals to consider behavioral and workforce information in addition to traditional qualifications.

Talent participating in the beta may be discovered by participating Employers or approved recruiting professionals for real employment opportunities.

DEMA Health may also evaluate de-identified or aggregated platform activity and workforce outcomes to better understand how behavior-first discovery may influence candidate consideration, recruiting, hiring, placement, retention, and related workforce outcomes.

2. Talent Participation and Eligibility

Talent participation is voluntary. Individuals are responsible for providing accurate information and completing the applicable steps required for participation.

Participation may require completion of registration, a Beta application or intake process, a behavioral assessment, selection of an applicable Profile Package, creation of a de-identified Talent profile, and DEMA Health review before a profile becomes available for Employer discovery.

DEMA Health may establish or modify participation requirements during the beta as the service and research process develop.

3. Talent ID and De-Identified Participation

The beta is designed so that Talent can initially participate in Employer discovery without displaying direct personal identifiers to participating Employers.

As part of the participation process, Talent may complete a separate intake or application process administered through BetterLife Foundation and receive a unique Talent ID.

Your Talent ID Is Important

Talent should use the assigned Talent ID when instructed within the DEMA Health platform. Talent should not substitute a personal name, nickname, email address, telephone number, social-media identifier, or other direct identifier in fields designated for the Talent ID.

The Talent ID allows DEMA Health to associate approved behavioral and workforce information with a Talent profile while supporting the de-identified discovery process.

4. Account Responsibility

Talent is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of account credentials and for activity conducted through the account.

  • Accounts may not be sold, transferred, or provided to another individual.
  • Login credentials may not be shared with unauthorized persons.
  • Talent should maintain accurate and current profile information.
  • Talent should promptly notify DEMA Health when unauthorized account access or suspected misuse is discovered.
  • Talent may not knowingly impersonate another individual or submit materially false information.

5. Beta Features and Availability

Beta functionality may be modified, added, restricted, suspended, or discontinued as DEMA Health evaluates and improves the service.

DEMA Health does not guarantee that a particular feature, package, behavioral resource, Employer-access feature, communication method, report, integration, or service will remain available throughout the beta.

The beta may experience interruptions, errors, incomplete functionality, or other changes associated with active testing and development.

6. Behavioral Assessment and Information

Talent may be asked to complete a behavioral assessment through DEMA Health's licensed behavioral technology provider as part of behavior-first participation.

Depending on the applicable Profile Package or service, behavioral information may include a Behavioral Style, behavioral traits, behavioral summaries, reports, behavioral job matching insights, coaching information, or other behavioral resources.

Behavioral information is intended for informational, developmental, workforce, and Talent-discovery purposes. It is not a clinical diagnosis, mental-health evaluation, medical assessment, background investigation, guarantee of future behavior, guarantee of job performance, or determination that an individual is qualified or unqualified for employment.

Behavioral information should supplement rather than replace consideration of skills, experience, education, certifications, interviews, job requirements, and other relevant employment information.

7. Profile Packages and Paid Talent Services

Certain behavioral assessments, reports, resources, debriefing services, coaching materials, or other Talent services may require the purchase of a Profile Package or other paid service.

Available packages may provide different levels of behavioral information, reports, resources, or services.

Pricing, package contents, promotional offers, included services, and availability may change during the beta. Applicable costs and included services will be presented before a paid purchase is completed.

Purchase of a Profile Package does not guarantee Employer interest, an interview, employment, placement, compensation, or any particular career outcome.

8. Talent Profile and De-Identification

Talent profiles are designed to support initial discovery without requiring participating Employers to first see the individual's direct identity.

Talent is responsible for following DEMA Health's de-identification instructions when creating or updating a profile, resume, professional summary, work history, education information, portfolio information, or other Employer-visible content.

Unless DEMA Health specifically instructs otherwise, Employer-visible profile content should not include direct personal identifiers such as:

  • Full legal name
  • Personal email address
  • Personal telephone number
  • Home or street address
  • Personal social-media account information
  • Other information that unnecessarily reveals the individual's identity during initial discovery

DEMA Health may remove, hide, return, or request revision of information that conflicts with the beta's de-identification requirements.

9. Profile Review and Approval

Submission of a Talent profile does not automatically make the profile visible to Employers.

DEMA Health may review submitted information for completeness, de-identification requirements, platform requirements, applicable behavioral information, and other beta participation requirements before approving or activating a profile.

DEMA Health may request corrections or additional information before approving a profile.

10. Employer Discovery and Profile Access

Once approved and activated, portions of a Talent profile may be made available to verified Employers or approved recruiting professionals participating in the beta.

The information available to an Employer may depend on the Employer's applicable access level, package, service, feature, privacy requirements, and stage of the recruiting process.

Depending on available features and permissions, Employer-visible information may include behavioral information, role interests, work preferences, qualifications, skills, education, certifications, resume information, verification indicators, or other approved profile information.

DEMA Health does not guarantee that every participating Employer will view a Talent profile or that a particular Employer will have access to every profile field.

11. Identity Disclosure and Employer Communication

Initial Talent discovery is designed to occur using de-identified profile information.

When an Employer or approved recruiting professional expresses interest or initiates an authorized communication or interview process, Talent may decide whether to continue with the opportunity and whether to provide identifying or contact information as appropriate for that process.

Talent Maintains a Choice

Being discovered or contacted through the platform does not require Talent to accept an interview, disclose additional personal information, pursue an opportunity, or accept employment.

Once Talent voluntarily provides identifying information directly to an Employer, recruiter, or other third party, that party's handling of the information may also be governed by its own privacy practices, policies, and applicable law.

12. References and Verification Information

Talent may have the option to provide reference or verification information to DEMA Health for review.

Information supplied specifically for DEMA Health verification should not automatically be treated as Employer-visible profile information.

Where applicable, an Employer may instead see a verification status, indicator, or other approved result rather than the private contact information supplied for verification.

Talent is responsible for providing accurate information and for having appropriate permission to provide another person's contact information when required.

13. Background Information and Employment Screening

Criminal-history information is generally not intended to function as an initial Talent-discovery filter within the beta.

Participation in the beta does not eliminate or replace background screening, employment eligibility verification, licensing requirements, security requirements, reference checks, or other screening that an Employer may lawfully require later in its recruiting or hiring process.

Participating Employers remain responsible for their own screening requirements and employment decisions.

14. Accuracy of Talent Information

Talent is responsible for providing truthful and reasonably accurate information about qualifications, education, employment experience, certifications, licenses, skills, availability, work preferences, and other information submitted through the participation process.

Talent should update information when a material change would make the existing profile misleading or materially inaccurate.

DEMA Health may restrict or remove information that appears fraudulent, materially inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent with platform requirements.

15. Employment Decisions

DEMA Health provides Talent-discovery, behavioral, recruiting, and workforce information and services but does not make hiring decisions on behalf of participating Employers.

Participating Employers remain responsible for their own job requirements, interviews, candidate evaluations, employment eligibility requirements, screening, accommodations, nondiscrimination obligations, hiring decisions, compensation decisions, and employment practices.

Talent remains responsible for independently evaluating whether an Employer, recruiter, job opportunity, employment arrangement, compensation offer, or other opportunity is appropriate before proceeding.

16. Beta Evaluation and Service Improvement

DEMA Health may analyze de-identified or aggregated platform activity and workforce outcomes to evaluate and improve the beta, platform functionality, behavioral workforce services, Talent experiences, Employer tools, and future offerings.

This evaluation may include examining patterns related to Talent discovery, candidate consideration, recruiting activity, interviews, hiring, placement, retention, platform use, and other workforce outcomes where such information is available.

Additional information about data handling, confidentiality, privacy, and permitted use is provided in the Talent Data Privacy & Confidentiality Policy.

17. Intellectual Property and Proprietary Materials

DEMA Health and its applicable licensors retain their rights in platform content, behavioral materials, assessments, reports, coaching materials, workflows, designs, branding, methodologies, software, technology, training materials, and other proprietary content or functionality.

Access to the beta or purchase of a service does not transfer ownership of those materials or authorize unauthorized copying, reproduction, resale, redistribution, publication, reverse engineering, or commercial use.

Talent may use reports or resources provided for personal use to the extent permitted by the applicable service and any additional terms presented with those materials.

18. Account Restriction, Suspension, or Termination

DEMA Health may restrict, suspend, decline, or terminate account or profile access when reasonably necessary to address:

  • Fraud or suspected fraudulent activity
  • Materially false or misleading information
  • Security concerns
  • Unauthorized account use
  • Misuse of platform information or services
  • Attempts to circumvent platform, privacy, package, or payment restrictions
  • Violation of applicable policies or these Terms
  • Unlawful activity
  • Conduct that threatens Talent, Employers, DEMA Health, confidential information, or the integrity of the service

19. Beta Availability and No Guarantee of Outcomes

Participation in the beta does not guarantee:

  • Employer discovery or profile views
  • Employer contact
  • Interviews
  • Job offers
  • Hiring or placement
  • A particular salary, schedule, benefit, or employment arrangement
  • Successful employment or retention
  • Particular job performance
  • A particular career or workforce outcome

Because this is an active beta, the service may experience interruptions, errors, changes, or limitations as functionality is evaluated and improved.

20. Updates to These Terms

DEMA Health may update these Talent Beta Platform Terms as the service, technology, features, operational practices, security needs, participation requirements, or applicable requirements change.

Material updates may be communicated through the website, account dashboard, email, or another appropriate method.

Continued use of the service after an applicable update may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by law.

21. Related Talent Policies

Talent participation in the beta is also subject to the applicable Talent Data Privacy & Confidentiality Policy and other requirements presented during registration, application, profile creation, assessment, purchase, or use of the service.

Additional terms, requirements, access limits, or service conditions may apply to particular Profile Packages, behavioral assessments, reports, coaching services, promotions, resources, or other offerings.

22. Talent Messaging, Privacy & Communication Monitoring

The beta marketplace provides messaging features that allow participating Employers and approved recruiting professionals to communicate with Talent about legitimate employment opportunities. Employer messaging is restricted to recruitment inquiries associated with current, confirmed job openings.

Your Choice to Communicate

Talent may receive messages from Employers or approved recruiting professionals expressing interest in a potential employment opportunity. Receiving a message does not obligate Talent to respond, participate in an interview, disclose personal information, or accept employment.

Protecting Your Personal Information

Talent should use the platform's messaging system for initial communications and maintain the de-identified nature of their profile until they voluntarily decide to disclose their identity as part of a legitimate recruitment process.

  • Do not include your full legal name, personal email address, telephone number, or home address in initial messages.
  • Do not share sensitive personal information, identification documents, financial account information, or passwords through platform messaging.
  • You may request additional information about the position, employer, or recruitment process before deciding whether to proceed.
  • You are responsible for deciding when and whether to provide identifying information to a prospective employer.

Communication Monitoring and Review

Messages and communications conducted through the marketplace may be subject to monitoring, review, and auditing by DEMA Health Ltd Co or its authorized representatives, as permitted by applicable law. Such review may occur to evaluate compliance with platform policies, investigate suspected misuse, respond to reported concerns, protect participant privacy, address security issues, and maintain platform integrity.

Talent should not assume that messages exchanged through the marketplace are inaccessible to authorized platform administrators. Access to communications is subject to applicable privacy requirements and platform procedures.

Reporting Inappropriate Contact

Talent may report suspected fraudulent job opportunities, inappropriate messages, requests for unnecessary personal information, harassment, misleading recruitment activity, or other suspected misuse of the marketplace to privacy@demahealth.com.

Platform Participation

Talent must also use the messaging system responsibly and may not engage in harassment, fraud, impersonation, unauthorized solicitation, or other prohibited activities.

DEMA Health Ltd Co reserves the right to review reported concerns and restrict, suspend, or terminate platform access when necessary to address violations of applicable platform policies.

By registering for or continuing to use the beta marketplace, Talent acknowledges these communication and monitoring requirements as part of the Talent Beta Platform Terms, subject to applicable law.

Talent Acknowledgment

By registering for, participating in, purchasing applicable services through, or using the Behavior-First Talent Discovery Beta, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to these Talent Beta Platform Terms, the Talent Data Privacy & Confidentiality Policy, and other applicable requirements presented during participation or use of the service.

Questions regarding Beta participation, privacy, platform use, or these Terms may be directed to privacy@demahealth.com .
